CFTO improves your cycling performance by combining a focused endurance-training program with CrossFit’s general fitness program.

 

The result is not only substantial gains in cycling performance, but also faster recovery, reduced body strain, injury prevention, and vastly increased overall fitness — on and off your bike.

Off-Season Benefits, Just for Cyclists!

 

  • Every cyclist receives an individual assessment at the start of the program, and every 4 weeks thereafter, using objectively measured exercises and workouts.
  •  

  • Program includes unlimited attendance at regularly scheduled CrossFit classes. We recommend attending 3-4 classes per week, depending on your cycling mileage.
  •  

  • Workouts will increase your strength, stamina and flexibility through an ever-changing mix of calisthenics, weightlifting, cardiovascular, jumping, throwing, climbing and gymnastic exercises.
  •  

  • Workout programming will transition from Post-Season to Off-Season to Pre-Season — so you’re ready to tear up the road once the season starts.
  •  

  • One 30-minute, one-on-one session with your Coach each month to review progress and revise programming as needed.
  •  

  • Bi-weekly rides from CFTO led by Dr. Rich Cimadoro, Cat 2 and Masters Road, Cross and Mountain Bike Racer.
  •  

  • Cold/dark/rainy-weather workouts in the gym with stationery trainers, as needed.
  •  

  • Access to all CFTO fitness and social events, including power-lifting and Olympic lifting workshops; self-care/massage-therapy seminars; and hikes, rides and camping trips.
